Privacy

PayBeacon is designed to work without accounts, advertising trackers, or the sale of personal information.

What is collected now

The public benchmark pages and widget do not set PayBeacon cookies or use browser storage. The widget requests a public JSON data file and does not send an email address, name, or user profile. Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may process ordinary request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the site.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page usage and performance. PayBeacon's analytics integration does not set cookies, use browser storage, create advertising profiles, or receive names, email addresses, form values, or the numbers entered in the offer comparator. Cloudflare receives ordinary request and browser-performance signals needed to produce aggregate statistics; Cloudflare states that source IP addresses used for this product are discarded rather than stored in its analytics datasets.

The offer comparator runs entirely in your browser. Its occupation, location, wage, hours, and stipend entries are not submitted to PayBeacon or stored by the tool. The market comparator also calculates in your browser and uses only public occupation and location choices. Those choices are placed in its shareable URL and may therefore appear in browser history and ordinary request logs when that URL loads.

PayBeacon is not currently accepting pay-alert signups. Purchase and recovery data is described below. If you email us, we receive the address and content you choose to send and use it to answer the message or investigate a correction.

Purchases and license recovery

Link acts as merchant of record, Stripe hosts checkout, and Link and Stripe process billing details, payment methods, receipts, invoices, transaction support, and subscription management under their own privacy terms. PayBeacon receives the purchase email, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, the licensed domain entered at checkout, and subscription status. PayBeacon does not receive or store a full card number.

Brevo processes the purchase email and message content to deliver license, recovery, and operational emails. Checkout and recovery controls hash request-network identifiers—and recovery also hashes the submitted email—for temporary abuse-rate limits. A matching credential is sent only to the purchase email already stored on the active subscription. Subscription records are kept while needed to provide access, handle cancellation and recovery, maintain financial and security records, and comply with law.

Sharing, sale, and retention

We do not sell personal information and do not share email inquiries with staffing companies. Service providers may process limited information only to host, secure, or deliver the service. We retain an inquiry only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain an audit trail, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

Your choices

You may ask us to access or delete personal information you sent directly to us. Email hello@travelpaybeacon.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify that the request belongs to you.

Changes

If PayBeacon later adds alerts, advertising, or partner referrals, this page will be updated before that data use is enabled. Material changes will receive a new effective date.
